Everything that can go wrong did.
Cleaned all the crap out of the valve body by diss-assembly, and then put it on the tranny and forgot the reverse piston, had to take it apart... Dropped a brand new can of brake-kleen and broke the valve off of it.....
The paper gasket between the Tranny case and the differential housing tore when I was removing it.
ATF poured everywhere seems the differential was full of it

, couldn't find the paper gasket local, so I had to run to get material and make one myself.
The case was giving me fits re-assembling it. The Torque convertor wouldn't go on, that is after about 1.5 hours of fussing I finally fingered out the turbine shaft wasn't fully seated... then the TC "popped" right in. I have it all bolted together, and then the TC locked in place, and had to call it a day because of work.... So maybe next week I can get to "hanging" it. I did take a minute to measure the axles at 100mm.... so wow....one thing right.
Oh did I mention that the drivers side wheel bearing was iffy?
And the OLD Differential was full of diluted 90wt/ATF.
