hey, i found a wire that's not connected to anything and i'm trying to figure out where it goes, it's on a plug near the alt, here's a couple pics, hopefully you guys can tell me where it's suppose to go, it's the orange wire connected to that plug with the green wire, thanks in advance for any help...

that's similar to what i did, but my eye hooks had the same pitch and threads as the original (i planned it that way) so i didn't need washers, as pdx said, just make sure it's longer than needed, you can cut off the extra after the loop on either side. it's real simple and i made mine for around $5

very easy to replace, one end hooks on to the hook on the back of the clutch pedal (feed in thru the fire wall) the other end goes thru the shift arm on the tranny, there's a slotted washer type thing that holds it onto the arm. then you have to unscrew it and adjust it to where you like the tension...
