Got my first piece of my order today!!

Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

Rock-on. Got my new coolant tank last night -- in a box that said "Keep frozen" .

Three words of advice: 1) Get hose clamp pliers (if you don't have 'em already). 2) Test the t-stat before installing. Why test it? A) To make sure you didn't get a dud which is known to happen, B) it's pretty cool to see it work (boil water, drop it in). 3) Remove the radiator to flush it (as long as you've got all the hoses off...). I removed mine and old coolant came pouring out of it and that's after hooking a hose up to it. Did you get a new thermo switch gizmo to install on the radiator? Now's a good time to replace that too.

My washers are arriving tomorrow and I'll be getting some coolant so I can put my own Cab's cooling system back together Saturday  . Wait, I've also got a new oil pan and oil pan gasket coming (new one Dad put on didn't stop the leakage :? ); does this mean you're copying me? Next thing I know I'll be reading a post from you saying that you're cleaning the undercarriage  :P :P .

Have fun with your new parts Jimmy! 8)

Jimmy remember that there is not to be any clutch popping or head snapping acceleration... I would hate to see you re-injure yourself.
