Well it has been a while since my last real post, and I have changed plans a little. Here are pics of my newly purchased bumpers. I was going to do the Euro bumper thing but these will be totally different. The car in the pic an 84 GTI "Pirelli Edition" was shipped from Germany a few month back and the new owner is giving it a redo. Oh I also picked up a set of sick 15" ROH wheels with 185/50/15 rubber. I'll grab a pic when I can. Oh and yes I'm still working on the underside.
Those are going to look fantastic on the Cabby, you are goinf to have the envy of a lot of folks wanting your own, you know. As they say in school, if you did not bring enough for the whole class......
well, yeah, you know the rest. Seriously, I cant wait to see them installed.
I can't wait to put them on, I have to fab up some brakets though. I don't know where the grille is from I assume Europe since that is where the car is from. It is for sale also (I think)!! Just to clarify the car in the pic is not mine just the bumpers off it, and the fenders also when they are off.
i think it's just me, but i prefer parts on a car that belong on a car....dont get me wrong those "big bumpers" (replicas of the big bumpers on a 90-92 MkII) do look good, but i think a clipper kit is alot nicer on a cabby

100, bux for both? hell i'd jumped all over it too
The rims are made by ROH an Australian company. They are 15" x 7 or 6.5 and sport some kind of Japanese tire 195/50/15. It was strange how I found them! I was browsing a site to sell my snowboard (I have been trying for a year) I would have taken $25. Anyway this fellow e-mails me and asks me to swap for the rims!! I never moved so fast in my life!! I tried one for size oh man sweeeeeet!!!! I just need to get longer wheel bolts. But that is later.
