How about these wheels?

Have you done so much to the car today that it just doesn't fit into one section, or are you too damn lazy to split it all up? Either way, this is the section for you.

How about these wheels?

Post by VWnoob »

You know I am still searching around for nice wheels. I found these Konig Rewind wheels. I like them.
I emailed the company and they told me that the 4x100 will be coming out in 1.5 months.
What do you guys think? They are deep dish and not too expensive.

They remind me of the old EMPI's we used to put on beetles back in the early 80's. Classic wheel style, you really can't go wrong with something that has lasted this long and is still being used. We used to body color the centers but the black and silver look like the 944 wheels.

I agree, they remind me of the empi's as well. Nice clean look, colors look good and should look great on most any color bunny. I'd say go for it.

Cool you're looking into some new rims..... You just keep looking I'm sure you'll find some you'll like. :D Now what about the old? I happen to like your rims that you have now. So, my question for you is. Are you willing to sell what you have and if so please let's talk. I'll be willing to come to southern Cal. to get.

Also, forot to add, they come in all silver, all black, gun metal w/polished lip, black w/polished lip, and bronze w/polished lip.

The pic is of the gun metal w/polished lip. I am thinking about either that or the black w/polished lip.

Ill have to go and test them and take pics and post.

i'd go with either the gunmetal/silver or the black/silver personally. they're nice looking rims, although i didn't care for the all silver look too much, atleast not in the close up, they looked fine on the car in the pic.

the black and chrome ones are konig rewinds, the all silver ones are panasports. i've always wanted a set of panasports but the rewinds look close enough. :)
