Updated pics

Just thought that I would post some updated pics of my Cabby. She is beginning her transformation.

I dropped her about 1.5" all around. I also took off the stock side mouldings and covered the holes. Also, I removed some chrome around the grill and painted the VW symbol black.

New rims coming soon and a new exhaust.

Thank You! I am enjoying every minute of it!!!!

I have decided to give it the original euro look.
I have already ordered the eyebrow spoiler.
Next is to find some euro bumpers, a duckbill spoiler and some new deep dish rims...15's of course.

lookin very good!!!! next thing i would do (and this is free) is push the bumpers in....and (not free) a small duckbill. my duckbill is arriving tomorrow.

I don't wanna hi-jack but how do you "push the bumpers in"? What does it look like?

heres a little bit about pushing the bumpers in. i did it on my diesel, looks a lot better. my diesel was a little harder because it has/had solid mounts.

Lowcab, I pushed in my bumpers!

Man! I checked out that link and got the instructions. When they said that it gets messy, they weren't joking!

I pulled off my bumper and then disconnected the shocks.
Just to play it safe, I got a big tupperwear storage container to catch the liquid and placed 1 shock in at a time. I also took their suggestion about wearing safety goggle....and boy am I glad!
I started drilling the first shock, not really knowing what to expect, when all of a sudden bang!!!! All of this liquid shot straight up at me and drenched my entire upper half! LOL!!!!
Once the first one was out of the way, the second was easier, I didnt drill as fast and I made a smaller hole.

Note to those who want to try this.
Drill slowly and wear safety goggles. I heard its very painful of you get the liquid in your eyes.

I will post up some before and after pics of my bumper soon.

contents under pressure are always fun. Can't wait to see the pics, almost makes me wish the wifes cabby wasn't a clipper cabby, then I could do the bumper mod too.

nope, don'thave shocks on the rocco bumps. I could cut the brackets and re-weld them, but then I'd still have US bumpers. They would just be shorter.
