Hi,
I have a 99 Cabrio that is acting strange. The light behind the A/C switch is blinking constantly, and the switch adjacent to it has just started to do the same thing. Are the bulbs the culprit, wiring?
Any ideas out there?
Thanks,
Dan

sounds like maybe a small short or possibly bad connection somewhere. Has anyone had their hands back there? Like for a stero install or the like? If so, theres a good chance that someone might have knocked a connection partially loose.
The panel is fairly easy to take off. I would suggest taking it off and having a look. Check the bulbs and trace the connections looking for damage or bare wire.
If your bulbs seem to blink when you hit bumbs in the road, then I'd have to say there is a loose connection/bare wire somewhere.
Hope that helps, please keep us posted on your findings
