Hey everyone - i just installed a new left side rocker panel after mine went MIA - someone hoisted my car up wrong and loosened it - didn't even fathom the rocker panel going missing.....
My question is - there is a gap now between rocker panel and body of car (on top of panel - Can I fill it with silicone? if so which one....

If you are talking the clipper kit, and the side piece that is held by gray clips and about 4 or 5 screws on the bottom, it didn't go missing, they probably broke it and then let you discover it missing.
At the top edge it should be a rubber gasket on the lip against the car, they call it welting. I am thinking that Cristine needed some and she has the source. I think it is similar to "fender beading" on the Bugs.
