Definitely like the new 17" rims better. DO you notice a big change in ride quality or acceleration?

yeah, just don't post the pic on the vortex, they would have a cow! 17's on an A1 is a no-no there.

I honestly find it amazing and somewhat amuzing how brutal almost all the other forums on the "Tex" are outside of the rocco forum.

I thought all the Tex forums were easy going since I never ventured out of the rocco forum for the first 6 months I was on the Tex. Then one day I ventured over to the golf III forums and was blown away. I tried a few other forums and saw the same thing. PPl getting bitched at for asking questions and not searching over a year back first and other stupid crap like that. Thats a big reason these forums came to be. Well, that and there wasn't a cabby forum on the Tex at all back then.

But I tell ya, you want a show, go read through the golfIII and up forums, it's like a warzone most of the time.

I ve been on other car forums when Ive been interested in a specific brand of car and asked genuine newbie questions or wanting a genuine comparison between my car and theirs for market research sake. Most times the first few anserws to my post are mean or sarcastic. I always get on the guys who do that on the Toyota forum I subscribe to. Thank god no one is that mean here.

I bought the car without the Porsche Wheels. :( :(
It's too big for a mk1. It's nice to see it, but for a daily driver is it not comfortable en praktical (kids etc.).

Sometimes I am mad that I didn't bouhgt the wheels. Grrrrrrr. Only for meetings!!!!!
