What's your plan?
Ok the summer is nearly over (Ok here in the north lands we will be expecting snow in the comming weeks). So it is only natural to ask you folks what you have planned for a winter project?
Me I just got to pull the engine on the the project bunny so I can send it to the body guy.
The question for me is rebuild the engine or just replace it?

There was no option for too many projects and no money.
So, since I will be getting some coilovers, and that is about all, I opted for just "yes"
The real project will be cleaning all of the ick out of the New Beetle.
Happy projecting!

Definitly
I just wish that money grew on trees, and I knew everything about auto mechanics...
LOL, well I will have to settle for spending my student loans and sending Helga to the shop...I found a VW guy...a real one, 12 years experience, works for them, and has a garage at his home where he does work on the side. I was so happy finding that out.
Project plans: #1 priority, Top...all of it. Hedliner pad, corners, everything. Then, suspension. Not sure which way to go,, but I don't want it slammed, but I want it a little lower. After that, I guess I will work on the body, although she has no rust, and just a few paint problems. Maybe trim work?
I am just really stoked about this car. I has 2 MKIII Jettas in the past, but this car is a lot different...a lot!
Woot, and I'm out.

Adam,
You just have to post a picture (or more) of Helga.
Sounds like you have the car all planned out. That's a good thing.
If it takes a little longer, well you will just enjoy it all the more.
Heck it only took me 17 yerars (yes 17) to get the wheels I wanted for the Topless Bunny.

I keep forgetting that there is no such thing as snow in the desert.kamzcab86 wrote:Umm, where's the "What's winter?" option?

That's what you get when you live in the far north.

Are you going to use Brians "how to" instructions for the top?
