more work to the cabby

So I finally got back to greenville to get some more work done. for some reason the head was replaced before I got it and I have lifters with shims instead of hydraulic, and we kind of forgot the actual adjuster, ooops. anyway, we replace all the plugs and she started right up but she was missing some where, turns out the injector number four the one we forgot to check last time was clogged so we replaced it and kabaam!! she sounded perfect compression is according to my grandfather a little low all around 130 . so hopefully we'll figure that out. anyway, we decided to see if the tranny (auto sadly) would work so we drive her around the block they all work fine whichi is great. bad news was when we brought it back into the driveway all the radiator hoses bused a tthe same time so. we took them all off only to find a crapload of a motor oil looking sbstance which could mean a head leak
or block leak. very bad but were going to replace the head gasket and oring on oil cooler first and see if it hopefully fixes the problem if not we have an 83 gti full running gear in nc so. yeah feel free to give some imput.

IF the hoses all burst, then I would suspect a bad head gasket.

The oil coolers are notorious for intermixing oil and water.

Nothing you can't fix or replace.
