You can take it to the dealer, have codes read and addressed, sometimes only a reset is needed. Some say disconnecting the battery for two or more hours can reset the system.
Or, at your own risk, the system can be easily dis-abled.
Just below the fuse panel, find the single, unique, flat, 6 pin connector and unplug the air bag controller. The car will now crank but won't start.
Find the two black wires in the car side harness from that plug, connect them together. Car will now start and operate fine, less complete air bag functions. You are now free to remove as many or as few of the air bag components as you desire.
