That is one FINE unrestored Cabby. I dont think I've seen one look so brite white-is that the original paint?
I couldnt own a white car out here in GA-too much red clay, it would be orange in no time at all!!
Thank you all for the compliments.. I do believe that I will keep it as it is, but want to change the wheels to 15" Cup Wheels, aba 2.0, and go from auto to 5speed tranny! eventually boost it!
Yes, Yes, Yes boost No.
If you cannot be happy with a car in its original form you will never be happy with it once you change it. You have a low milage classic. Love her for what she is . Buy a POS Cabby and boost it but keep your original Cabby, ORIGINAL. 10 years from now you will look back and tell everybody that you once had a low milage classic. If you rape her, she will not ever be worth talking about and you will not still have her 10 years later. You can boost any car but not that one. Some cars are a sacrament. That one is.
-The argument is "Where can you find another one that is her equal"? Same with women but I will leave that to another forum. Besides, you already know what I am talking about. If you changed her, it wouldn't be the same.
If you want to mod it, I would just recommend springs and a stereo...just as long as you keep EVERYTHING you take off the car so you can turn it back to stock in an instant.
Now you are talkin'... No wait... Drive her up to Georgia and while you are in Pennsylvania, I have all the work finished. Well, I know you are in no shape to drive so let the grandmother drive, it is only about 1000 miles + or - 100. Hey, maybe your son could drive her out here. He has to start driving sooner or later and you are going to pass her down to him anyhow. Road trip!!! 2005. A Summer to remember and then you could sell the movie rights and then the sequel. Boy, why didn't I think of this sooner? I want a cameo roll and I'll borrow a toupee from Burt Reynolds. Did I mention that he and I look a lot alike...from the neck down. Yea', I am modest but truthful.
why do I think that your idea of having the work done would mean it would end up in my garage??? Which wouldn't be a bad idea actually. An hell, Jimmy could even jump on the cam on a nightly basis and look at his car.
HEY, THATS NOT A BAD IDEA..... CAL, SINCE YOU AND BUB PUT IT OUT THERE... YOU SHOULDN'T PUT IT PASSED ME
but one problem... no way to get it back down here. we fly out of NYC... not driving back. damn , guess gotta scratch that idea. hey it was a good thought though!
