Changes to the TRF Fleet

So after slapping 60k miles on the TDI in less than 2 years, some signs of very expensive maintenance started showing up. I started bracing myself for it, then Mrs. TRF Admin found something that appealed to my inner child.

So, this is now in the driveway.

2012 Audi A6 3.0T Prestige

It's not the TDI, but it has all the right bells and whistles. It really feels good to be back in an A6. An while I'm certainly having some issues with the thirst of the 3.0, being much more relaxed behind the wheel is helping me cope.

Thanks. I'm racking up the miles fast on this big beast and I have to say, she's soaking them up fantastically. 15k miles since I got her in mid Jan. Very happy with this ride.

Glad to hear, I too rack up miles pretty quick on daily drivers. That's the main reason it has to be something I enjoy driving!

That's for sure. Comfort level is huge. Especially when today's commute home took 2 damn hours to go 50 miles.
