Hi everyone, my 1990 cabby completely died on me on hwy and at a full stop - it just completely shut -off but started up quickly again?
The wires and spark plugs were just replaced - the distributor cap was going to be replaced but the mechanic installed it and it was some cheap part and car ran very rough so he installed the old one? think the old one broke off? not so sure -
any help would help - this problem started after this distributor cap problem>
Don't discount a bad fuel pump relay, or 30 lbs of items on your key ring ignition switch that when swinging the correct way, can shut off the ignition switch.
(don't ask me how I found that one out, and it took a while)...

Calgary Clipper? That's a new one to me. It's right balmy here with the temp around 0 deg. C. Not even a chinook.
