New found fun

Post by jacob42 »

I recently purchased a yellow 86 cabriolet original color white. I think it will be a fun little car I'm a pretty good mechanic but I'm sure it will make me a better one. oh and it's my first car I've just owned motorcycles until now. I'm in the working on restoring my 5th gear already did the motor mounts and have looked at the shift linkage sadly I will have to enter the transmission :( .

Welcome, pictures would be nice. see www.brokevw.com

5th is a splash oiled gear, if gear box oil is low it will burn out.
It is replaceable with out a tear down.
