Phil's Garage
Last summer while I was on vacation, I came across a private car museum. This place had about 70 really nice classic cars (most of them convertables) and so I had an idea.
I've created a website to help celebrate peoples cars. Today is my official launch!
There will be several sections for displays, that include an exhibit hall, cruise nights, shows, a back shop to show builds in progress and more.
It's still small, but I do have some more cars to add and I am looking for submissions. So if you have a cool car, why not submit it to me. (There is a link on the site for submissions)
This is for all makes/models but if the Cabriolet crowd provides enough input I'll make a special area for that.
Come pay me a visit at the Garage http://www.phils-garage.com
I still need to make a comment link on the site, but comments can be e-mailed to me at phil@phils-garage.com
Hope you enjoy my site.

Very nice site Phil. You've certainly been busy. I've just taken a quick look, but I'll certainly be taking a deeper look very soon.

Re: Phil's Garage
Thanks William.
It would be real nice to have Crabby, and maybe some of the other cars in your fleet there too.

I liked the homade one.... looks almost like a 1930s EyeTalian design.

That car is really amazing. I have yet to post it, but their other car is a '35 Duzenberg, and every bit as nice.Briano1234 wrote:I liked the homade one.... looks almost like a 1930s EyeTalian design.

Re: Phil's Garage
Well I've been busy the last few days catching up on material for my site. I still have a lot to do.
One of the things I did get accomplished was the record for my build for Posh Bunny. So here is the link to that part of the site. Please enjoy.
And please send me comments too. Thanks

Looks real good Phil. The rollover images are a nice touch.

This whole thing has become a labour of love. I've learned quite a bit doing it.

Re: Phil's Garage
Overall, nice job.
1a) Place a note after "Here is the record of Project Save A Bunny" regarding the images being rollovers.
1b) Remove the rollovers altogether and, instead, put the actual pictures on the page and create hyperlinks (preferably lightboxed) to larger versions.
2) The background stands out too much (I, personally, don't care for repeating photo backgrounds, or photo/busy backgrounds with text directly on top, so I may be a little biased); I actually liked the page with the white background, which I saw prior to the photo background loading.
3) Looking at your page info, under "author" it has your email address. That's potential spam waiting to happen (been there, done that and it's a royal PITA if a spambot gets a hold of it). It's this line: <meta name="author" content="pconroy@****.com"> (I put in the *** so your address is hidden from spambots). If anything, just delete the @****.com part.
