Hello from Ohio
Just bought a 1992 Wolfsburg Cabriolet. I'll try and get a few pics up in the near future. It used to be hanging off the back of an RV, then got parked in a garage for a couple years after the owner passed. I bought it and an cleaning it up and getting the cobwebs out of the engine and instrument cluster. Injectors need a good cleaning and the cluster connections need a good cleaning as well ( sometimes I have a tach & dash gauges, sometimes not ). With 60K miles, I think I have a good start.
Cheers

Very nice, and Brian, it does look almost exactly like yours. However, I doubt there are gold balls under the hood of his.

Briano,
Mind if I keep it for a while ? I still have some fixing up to do.
I haven't looked "Under the hood" as you put it (we call it something else here). Anyway, as stubborn as it is being, I don't expect to find any balls at all.

Re: Hello from Ohio
Well, seeing that the Exhaust manifold cracks are preventing it from getting emissioned, and the Timing belt has to be replaced, then the injectors that I removed to remove the Intake manifold yesterday, and today I have to decide on going with the g60 manifold, or the header that I bought is the decision. Then if I go with the header I have to get a bung welded in it as well as have it shortened, and a flexure placed on it. If I go with the g60, then I have to make a new down pipe....92 Drop Top wrote:Briano,

I spose you can drive it ifn't you can get it up my drive way... (oh did I mention that it skipped time, and won't start at all? )

Nice blue cabby...
