If you want to join our group cruise in Calgary, we will meet at the Shops of Bridalwood (by the Sobeys) on 162 nd Ave. SW

We will meet at 11:00 AM and cruise at 11:20

Well folks, we got out there!
But the temp was cold and it was overcast . The result was two cabbys and a bug convertable. I'll post some pictures later.

I do have to say that both cabbys did go TOP DOWN!

That's Awesome Phil. Unfortunately we had the same weather you did, plus my mother in law was here for the weekend which ment crabby stayed in the garage and I stayed outside and did yard work.

I went topless cruising up to my parents' place in the pines... just got back today. I went alone (one never got back to me, the other said "that's too far") and the weather was awesome.

I swear... the Vanagon crowd is so much more into group outings. Three events have taken place over the past 4-5 weeks and no less than 30 vans have showed up at each event, including many from 2-4 states away. And Vanagons get worse fuel mileage than our Cabs! Cabriolet people need to step it up a notch!! <cracks whip>

And, Phil, I didn't bother to stop and take pics; it's a route I regularly take (fun, scenic drive) and already have pics from said route. Now, if AZ Cabriolet people got their freakin' topless acts together, I'd have lots of pics to share!!

Maybe next time, one person from each area (state/province, city, etc.) create a drive and have folks sign up for it? Here in AZ, I bet the desert-dwellers would be up for a drive to the pines during the summer... there again, it'd probably still be "too far to drive!"
