Seat Frame Rebuild

Post by mutwagn »

Need a little help on a seat frame?
This is the current state of my drivers side seat.

I was hoping that I could go to the salvage yard and find another VW seat and the frame from it would work as a replacement for mine.
My cabby is a 93, and has the seat belt attachment point on the frame, but I can always cut and weld that.
Are there any models that are a pretty much a one to one swap.
Thanks for the help, Andy
