Howdy all, I am new to this forum and Cabriolets.
I rescued a 93 Caby from a trip to the junk yard, buying it the night before the misguided and frustrated soul was going to send this one to the graveyard.
That was Tuesday night, in the rain, but I got it home, and now the fun begins.
There are issues with it, like it leaks a bit, that's putting it mildly. The seats need to be repaired and/or replaced, and the carpet has to be replaced. These are cosmetic, and there are some mechanical, but like I said, the fun begins now.
I'll be reading, searching, and asking questions as I go.

Hi Andy, and welcome to TRF.
Glad you could save the poor little cabby. Currently I have two, one since new the other is an '88 that is a project. It's a bit too cold here right now to work on them, but that's the way it is.
You will find the folks here very happy to help answer all your questions.
You will have to post some pictures of the car for us.

A few pictures of the Cabby project.

And the # 1 reason the carpet has been ripped out........

I now have a Bently manual, and will work on door, window, and top adjustments. Then I'll redo the interior.
The other major item is a cooling system problem. But I think I can work it out. We'll see.
Not a bad place to start for $200.00 though.
