Yea, having the wind knocked outta your sails always sucks. So much of the rocco build went so smooth and now I'm running into these small issues that just eat up so much time. However, I just keep thinking how it will be when I'm back behind the wheel and the car is moving under it's own power again.

Re: Jetta Update
SoCal, I have parted out three of them in the last year, what do you need? I may have it sitting in my basement or on another parts car. I know I have brackets with tensioners, alternators and probably pulleys as well. I'm out of P/S pumps but I have adapted earlier ones to work. A/C compressors are laying around but I can't tell you that they work.

Re: Jetta Update
I should have no problem supplying that. Which pulleys? Alternator is grooved and runs with the a/c. Water pump is a V and runs with the P/S. I have an alternator pulley and the tensioner pulley (flat). I'm thinking more like $50.00 plus shipping. Let me know.

Re: Jetta Update
i need the crank pulley, the whole alternator (and possible the plugs for the alternator cause i dont know if my stock wiring is plug and play for it), the alternator bracket (im picturing the one with the tensioner built into the bracket) and i need the idler style pulley for the water pump (i have no idea what its from, but if it boils down to it i will order one from that company on the vortex)sixsracing wrote:I should have no problem supplying that. Re: Jetta Update
I have the bracket with the tensioner.
I have an alternator and I can cut the plugs out of a parts car.
I have a crank pulley.
I will check pulleys and see if I have that number but if it's V6 only then I'm sure I don't.
I'll put them in a box to the side and wait to hear from you. Didn't know you needed the alternator too.
I'll check my stock and see if I can still cut that price. Up here in cold country I use them quite a bit.

Re: Jetta Update
Bolts might be a little tough. Most everything has been disassembled and is in the basement
but I will see what I can do.

Re: Jetta Update
Ok, got most of it together this morning. Bolts for the alternator, compressor and mounting studs
for bracket to block. Both the alt. and the compressor equipped with electrical connectors and
pigtails. I am concerned about the p/s bracket and cradle. The bracket is here but I have no
cradle or p/s pump. Different pumps take different cradles and I'm out of stock. Here are some
pics, let me know if you see something missing that you need and I'll get them UPS'd.

Re: Jetta Update
i dont need the a/c pump or the power steering pump, i deleted them from my car to clean up the engine bay, besides my manual steering rack has no where to put the fluid from the pumpsixsracing wrote:Ok, got most of it together this morning. Bolts for the alternator, compressor and mounting studs

Re: Jetta Update
Well that will reduce the shipping costs.
So, forget the A/C compressor and the bracket for the P/S.
Is there anything else you might need from me to make life easier. Have you found an ECU?
