Ok, I told Sixs that I'd get these upped and I'm a bit behind, but here they are. 56k death here folks. I was going to resize these pics, be they look to good in their original rez.
Ok, so Sixs, I see 3 bikes here. How about you load one up in the vanagon and bring it down here for safe keeping?
Seriously, very nice house and I think I might have to come up and steal your lift. Could you send me some info on that lift. I'm considering getting one in the future.
Dayammm, you've got spare hoses and belts, a lift, mucho tools, and you couldnt find a bucket with soap and water in there
J/K, very nice, indeed. Calimus showed these to me when he got them via e-mail, and it really made me long for my red cabby-very nice. I mean, everything is very nice!! Next time I break down, I wanna do it near your house.

Thanks guys, God has been very good to me. I can't tell you much about the lift except that it's made by Rotary and works fantastic. I had to put a motor and pump on it about 4 years ago ($500.00 gift from a customer) and it originally came from a garage in Quincy Ma. I bought it from a friend for $750.00 but I never finished paying for it because he had a customer with a CB1100F that he couldn't fix. I fixed the bike for him after paying about $400.00 off on the lift and he said don't worry about the rest. As far as breaking down near me, go right ahead, I would be happy to help any of you guys out at any time. Thanks for posting the pics and the compliments as well.

Oh yeah the bikes. Only three of them are mine. (the CB1100F, an XR80 and a Z50) The rest are customers rides.

I didn't see the z50 till you mentioned it. That was my first bike in 83'. I was all of 6 years old and loved it. Still had it till about 5 years ago when I gave it to a guy my dad worked with so that his son could have his first bike. As far as I know, that bike is still out there putting a smile on a young kids face.
I didn't realize how many bike there were in the garage until you mentioned it. There is a CR125 on the left by the lift, a YZ80 back by the parts washer, the XR80 is in back of the CX650, which is to the left of the Z50, and the whole mess is obscured by the Virago 750 and my 1100. Both the Van and the Cabby go in at night with all the bikes, drives my wife nuts. My first bike was a 68' Z50 hardtail. Bought it for $50.00 with a brushed paint job, no brakes and tires thin enough that rocks were a problem. The bike is now showroom condition somewhere in N.H., I saw it once after the guy finished it, made me very sorry for giving it up. You were 6 years old in 83', man I'm OLD! I graduated high school in 84' and got married when you were 8!

Talk about bringing back an old thread , but I live in Exeter, Maine and I am pretty sure that those first couple pictures of sixs' cabby were taken in Bangor somewhere near the intersection of State St. and maybe Washington St.? near the good old Penobscot River. As for the shots of sixs' house I am not sure, maybe somewhere in the outer Bangor area towards Levant or Kenduskeag. Anyways I like your rides six and I might have to look you up when I get back to Maine in May (need to find other cabby owners in the 207).
wow, the first cabby I have ever seen with the same wheels as my Green one... AWESOME.

Yes as matter of fact, I have the Luck o'the Irish...everything I touch turns to fertilizer of the bovine variety. You can lead a user to a link, but you can't make him Click....
Been a long time since posting and I apologize. The business is good and I finally got some high speed inernet service so I guess I should start hanging out again.
Always room up here if you find time to visit. The basement is semi-finished now so we have a pretty solid VW parts room and pool table, air hockey, ping pong etc.

Oh yeah, the red Vanagon is gone. We still have the maroon one next door at Dad's. I need to update my car catalog.
