Here are two I have.

Fahrfromhome
Great early season cruise and non judged show.
Start in Edmonton, Alberta at Gateway Park (on Hwy 2 at the south end of the city)
OR
Start in Calgary, Alberta at Deerfoot Mall (just off Deerfoot Trail [Hwy 2] in the north end of the city.
The two groups meet in Red Deer, Alberta (1/2 way) and continue to Sylvan Lake for the show.
Last year had a long hauler from Texas.
Aug 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Das Volks
This is Alberta's premire show and this is the 21st year.
Events include Drag Racing on Friday night,
Pancake Breakfast, poker run/rally on Saturday
BBQ Saturday night and
Show on Sunday.
This is a long weekend (Monday being the holliday).
Only a 2 1/2 hour drive from the US border (Sweetgrass MT).

Christine, just because we have a couple of chilly (-40 deg) days doesn't mean the weather here is all bad. It just makes us appreciate the summer all that much more. A couple of reasons that there is wholes in your logic.
1. Your national anthem starts with a question, Oh, Canada?
2. Yours School systems don't have snow days, they have Sunshine days.
3. If Winters are so wonderful why do we see a tremendous amount of Canadian License Plates go north in another month...
