New to TRF - Termite has arrived!

Greetings!

So, some guy named bigpapa, bigbertha, er somethin'... Oh, bigdaddy90cabby, yea that's it, hit me up on one of the local Texas forums Strictly European Autosport. He told me to drag my cabby girly car lovin' a$$ on over to this neck of the woods. So, I came, I read some posts, I loved what I saw, and here I am! GENERIC GREETING!

Well, basically, the sig says it all. There you'll see my bunnies. I'd love to one day add a caddy to the mix, but that can wait. Those things are hard to find in good shape around here anyways. Besides, I have too many projects in the werks.


What do I have?

1984 Rabbit GTI - Stock 8v / 322,000+ original motor miles / daily driver / This car was going to be donated to the Fairfax County, Virginia Police Department for PIT training! I SAVED HER FROM DESTRUCTION! She still runs strong to his day.

1994 Jetta GL - slammed on some 16" TSW Hockenheim - stock elsewise (wife's car)

1977 Chevy Malibu - It's a beast under the hood, trust me, but this isn't the place to ratter on about that one.

And for the reason why I'm here...
1984 Rabbit Cabby - This little gem came to me like it was meant to be! I was in dire need of a car at the time, and always wanted a rabbit. Flipping through the ads, I find a cheap little 84 cabby being sold by some chick in the Airforce. Needless to say, I'm on the phone in minutes and snag it up. She thought it needed WAY more work than it needed, but it was only a dead alternator(generator). I drove her for a few years, but am now going to tear her heart out and insert a brand new one! Recently I answered an ad for a guy making space in his garage for his other projects. Little did I know, I'd be getting a FREE G60 minus the 'G' out of the deal! Plans are to slap a new charger on it, and add a turbo as well. Yup, it's going to be a chore, but I'm up for the challenge.
