So being a "Happy New Year" in the typical Luck-o'the-Irish:

Sunday morn of last: Number 3 daughter calls to tell me her Low coolant light is blinking... Well at 2:00am as I am in the office I tell her that I will look at it in the am at her job (starbucks) but between that My Middle daughter had to take my eldest daughter to the Emergency Room, she was tremendously in pain.....

So departing work (Raining like a Bovine Urinating on a flat rock), I drive by the Hospital, all is well they have the daughter on a Demerol drip, and the Number 2 daughter says that as I am going over to visit number 3 daughter, could I get her a el'grande 3 pump double latte with no whipped cream, with about thirteen other things, that I had her write down,,,,,,(GIMME PLAIN COFFEE talking all that is like too much to think about).... So Swing by the house pick up rain suit and a jug of anti freeze......
Drive to Starbucks, no cabby sitting in the lot. Pick up phone call number 3, she tells me that she drove her fiends car.....ARGGGGGGGGGGGG.... Drive back to Hospital with Coffee in hand..Some of the test are back Kidney Stones.......

Go home, and proceed to try to remove the Serpentine Belt tensioner from Number 1 Daughters car...it is gone to pieces, and one of the bolts is stripped, and you can't get to it... I have my Irwin Bolt extractors but alas there is no where to hammer it on.... Mini-Vice-Grips are clamped but I can't swing a hammer.... so get out Mr. SAWz-All put in 10" blade and start cutting that sucker outta there....then the inevitable happens..........No Juice in the battery after about 3 minutes of cutting... The wife loaned my cordless drill with freshly charged battery to friend... so place the battery on the charge Daughters are home from the Hospital, and I have to go get DRUGS....now it's 9:30am I get to go to sleep....

Wake up, at 3:30 grab a cup of "Normal Coffee" go out and hit it with a Fresh battery....I cut one side till I am on the hardened spring... switch to the other side and as I am cutting I see the frozen bolt move.....
Getting the Mini-Vice-Grips on it, I unscrew it..... Off new part on wow like 1.5 hours has elapsed since I got up....should of started cutting that thing out on Sat.

New Years Eve, I drive in to work take ButtKiss calls all night, drive home wake children up, as I have to drive the Oldest back to Statesboro on News Years Day and have number 2 daughter drive Pathfinder to cart my tired ass home in.... Great trip, got 40MPH in Saturn, got 24MPH in Pathfinder.....Drive home and because of all the ass clowns on the highway get no sleep on the way home..now it is 5:30 I get to sleep till 8:00 and drive in to work, to take ButtKiss Calls... Drive home, Drive friends and family to airport.....sleep from 12:00 to 2:30 when...

Wife goes to Dentist, comes back to tell me the Pathfinder won't go in to reverse.. She is right... Take it for a spin... and I say SHIT..........So I do the typical check the fluid level, still topped off, tranny oil smells right and looks right,,,sit in car, check to see that in reverse the reverse lights come on. Throw the shifter into all the gears,,,works ok but reverse don't work, and it feels like neutral. So test drive it and I decide to do a Hollywood throw it in reverse while driving, the car lurches... and I stop, the car is now in reverse, drive it a bit, it seems to work fine. Call tranny guy, arrange a rendezvous for today....have him check it out...

But all in all that is how my new year started...

Brian, I don't envy your new years start off at all. Hate to hear about the kideny stones, however, it is manageable with diet, which is a good thing.

As for the rest of the chaos, you can keep it.

BTW, as soon as the weather gets a little nicer, let me know if you need a hand with anything. I need to make another trip out your way for a special reason. If things go according to plan, you will be able to stop looking for your special TRF sticker and will have a replacement.
