Hi guys, its been a while since I posted here, but it has finally come down to this.

I am selling the Cabby.

My wife and I reprioritized everything in our lives and the Cabby just doesnt fit in it any more. There were so many things that I wanted to do to it, but dont have the time to do them.
The Cabby has been sitting in my garage for over a year and I start her up every once in a while. She is still perfect and running strong.

I have put a For Sale post in the for sale section. If you are interested, please let me know.

Jim

ps. I loved being a part of this awesome forum, and am going to miss all fo you guys dearly.

Say it isn't soooooooooooooo. Sorry for the selling off of your cabby, but we all can understand why, we all have been there.

Soooo with that being said....saying good bye to the cabby dosen't mean that you have to leave don't the forum.

you could always put it away, save it for later.

LOL! Hey LowCab! Im not totally leaving the forum... I will stop by every once in a while to say hi to you all!

It totally broke my heart to finally decide to sell.
Its a great car all around, whether some buys it for a project car or an everyday driver. She is pristine shape! In and out.

I hope to maybe one day buy a hard top Rabbit and make that a total project car, but for now. I need the space in the garage for the wifeys new Mercedes that I got her for Christmas. 8)

But the money is going for a good cause....a 50" plasma! Woo Hoo! LOL!

She is beautiful, I hope a good home is in store for her. Dont forget to tell the new owner a free membership awaits him/her on TRF.

But can a Plasma tv that will not live to the ripe old age of your Cabby, truley give you pleasure, as in driving down the interstate @ 80, with the moon up the top down and good tunes on the radio?

Just saying..................

Kuklaki, thanks for the kind words, but Im not totally going away, Ill be visiting you guys every now and again.

Brian, thats true, the plasma wont outlast the cabby... I really have no words against that. :?
But, I too am going to miss her.

I just found out today that I have a cousin who might want to buy her!
That would be nice because I would still get to see her.

Not to mention buy her back if things ever work out to where you have room for her again.
