Fuel pump - current draw spec?
Does the Bentley give a current draw specification for the CIS in-tank transfer pump? The one for my Volvo did, as a quick test for a worn-out pump. The only manual I have for the Cabriolet is the Haynes, and it doesn't even mention the transfer pump, much less give a current specification for it.

Since both are tied to a 15 amp Fuse the most current draw that you will get is 15 out of either one. the Bently dosen't have specifics on Current draw that I saw the digifart pumps have to deliver 300ml in 30 seconds for volume, and then there are the pressure tests.

3-4 amps for the transfer pump, 9.5 amps for the main pump. The Volvo main pump is rated at a slightly higher capacity than the VW one, though. For the years I have a manual for, they were using CIS only on the turbos, and the fuel demands were high enough that they were using a 6-cylinder fuel distributor with two ports plugged off instead of a 4-cylinder one.
