Hey mate, thanks for replying...I totally forgot to post the update on how everything turned out. (back to the whole drivin' thing again...no time for internet..LOL)
When I pulled it out the next day it was pretty damn shiny. A little too shiny for my tastes, so..........

I cleaned it and sealed the body edge, then sprayed it with a coat of self etching primer.

And....the finished product. I used spray on boxliner for the final coat to give it a texture (and a nice tough finish). If you just glanced at it, you might even mistake it for a stock plastic one....which is absolutely perfect stealth in my books.
The two creases pick up the Hood line creases perfectly, I am totally pumped about this one......damn I'm good!! (if I do say so myself...LOL)
