Cracked leather and vinyl?

Post by kuklaki »

I've been searching for a way to repair the age worn cracked leather seats in the Scirocco, but up until now have only found those cheap do-it-yourself kits with the little pots of colour or the as-seen-on TV crap which match nothing ever produced.

I did another search through Google and found a prduct made by Lexol, which as you know is a very reputable brand for leather/vinyl care.

I went ahead and ordered the kit in black for the seats in the Roc, and also bought grey for some boot cover repair. I'll be posting pics once it is all completed.

Here is the link for the site. http://www.leatherrepairkits.com/

Very cool! I'd love to know the results since I have a good-sized crack/tear in my Cab's front seat bolster :( .

I found this site a while back and was considering it, till I figured what the heck....TMI to the rescue.....

I have seen some of these repairs done at a leathershop a few years back they looked good, prep is everything....

I had a couple of splits in one of the door cards on the Topless Bunny so I took it to a guy that the upolstry shop recommended.

This guy worked magic! You can't find were the split was.
