Wheee!! Another (oldish) female. Glad to see you on here, I've felt a bit like a fish out of water until a few kindred spirits joined in.
For a proper intro, I have a few questions for you: When did you get the Cabby? Is that Scirocco yours, or another family members? What other dubs have you had the joy of owning?
ummm that is all...for now

Welcome to TRF!!
Hi there Kuklaki!
Very nice to meet you as well, dear!
I bought *this* Cabby just before Hurricane Rita struck, about 2-3 weeks ago, but I had durned near run the wheels off my 90..
I put 100k on the Black 90 in ten years, and it had come to me with 85k on the clock in 1995.
It had gotten loose as a goose, but is still fairly intact, and I am keeping her for either spares, or to someday rebuild.
Let's see, what all VWs have I had...
*draws a deep breath and dives into the Memory Hole*
I have owned a 55 Bug, a 63 Bug, a 63, 65, and 70 Bus, a 75 Rabbit, an 80 Rabbit, an 85 Jetta, (hated it, was a yuppie car with no soul), the 90 Cabby, and now my shiny newish 92 Cabby.
Also a 1963 356S Porsche for 6 years of expensive grins.
Husband and I have also built street rods; 55 and 57 Chevys, and a badarse 41 Chevy pickup.
The Scirocco is my German cousin's, and is fairly new to him also.
We all run a Victorian landmark mansion as a Bed and Breakfast here in East Texas,
http://www.ThreeOaks-Marshall.com , have 3 Rottweilers, and I am a shooting instructor, and gun nut.
Very nice to be here, and I do appreciate all the kindness shown by the members.
Thanks folks!
