Yeh, the only good thing is that each time I do some work on the car, no matter how annoying or how fiddly, it's always that much more pleasant and satisfying to drive afterwards.

Me too, it was just such a tricky one to track down... As always though, straight out of one problem into another. The clutch cable tube on the pedal cluster bracket snapped off today so I had to strip all of that junk out, re-weld it and put it back together. :banghead: It's hard having these cars ...

Solved. It was the warm up regulator. Thank you for all your help and suggestions.

Yes, it's the return line from the warm up regulator. It's possible there's a donor car local to me with one, but I won't be able to find out until Monday, but I certainly appreciate you looking.

Whilst continuing to trouble shoot my cold start tick over problem (http://www.toplessrabbit.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1847) I broke the return line from the pressure regulator. Any ideas where I can get one of these in a hurry? I've tried all the local autoparts dealers and they're stumped...

Yeh it was pretty crazy in places, i'm in midtown and we didn't see much but rain... What are your symptoms? You are still CIS with the 89 right? I work in theatre so my schedule is totally screwy, but would be happy to try and troubleshoot with you when I get a spare day! Do you get to midtown much...

Ok, some progress. I've checked the 5th injector, and it is behaving as it should. Good spray pattern, cutting off after 10-15 seconds. This makes sense because the car always starts first time, and then dies, so it's obviously starting on the fuel that the 5th injector is providing, and then is dyi...
