I went one step futher and removed the little black boxes that are located in the rain tray along with the control box behind the center console, however I still have the steering wheel because it looks a little bit better than old school ones. IMO

This is good to know I had never thought about it until now. I'm also thinking on this note that the MKI & MKII Scirocco are the same also. However do not hold my feet to the fire on this on I do not have my ETKA up and running.

I just bought Neuspeed soft sport along with the bilstines. Have not got to drive it yet but it's preety solid as it sits there.

not to put a burst in your bubble, just some warning. when you get the fenders back on, take alot of care in lowering it off the cakstands, cause if memory serves me correct the MkII suspension is alot wider in the front, so to save you some fender damage, make sure you keep an eye on the clearance...

Nice pic. The GTG was great I persume? We are having a GTG here on Sat hopefully I can get some good pics. The weather just turned for the worst and the place that we are going to for Okoberfest just got 2" of snow Oh well the disadvantages of living in snow country.
