cool pics!!

one thing you can do to clean up the front is move the license plate under the bumper. that way you can see it from far away but up close you can't.
check it out.

this is when i still had the clipper kit on.

I like that, but the cops here really like to give people problems if the plate is not at least 12 to 18 inches from the ground.. they say if we are gonna relocate the plate we have to use suction cups and put it in winshield.. thats why plate is still there.. been there and done that! and the uniwiper... Texas DPS officers like to write tickets for improper use of safety equipment.... and no brows across top of windshield.. cant have much fun here.. if a car sits too low, they try and tell you that its a safety hazard to others on teh road.. we say no, others need to pay more attention.. there was an insabordenation ticket (pardon teh spelling, but i think you get me)... It does look sharp though... we cant have fogs either unless they are on the car from factory

the rest of texas is pretty cool about stuff like that.. but the local dps guys, and city cops are real pricks!!! unless you know some and can get stuff pulled... come to think about it.. i can do it and be cool.. i got a buddy that just becasue a COP... so maybe he can help me out if i get messed with.. hell, its work a shot! those damn dps guys though .. i am not too fond of state troopers.

damn, i haven't had a front license plate on my car for the 2 years that i've owned it. cops around here to don't too much about stuff like that (or most mods in general). they tend to bitch more about how loud your subs are =/

around here they like to pull you over for window tint. i had limo tint in my 83 gti, very dark. one night a bored cop pulls me over to check my tint, he puts the the little box on the outside and the light on the inside to see how much light comes through, it was so dark he couldn't see the light to line them up! this was just on my back 3 windows.
he was like "ya need to have this crap off by the weekend... i'll be keeping an eye out for you."
i spent the next day scraping tint, really sucked.

Should have checked with state laws... State override City Laws.. Here, I can spray all my back windows black so long as the front door windows are up to spec.... now that wasnt right!

oh yeah, he also got me for the tinted strip across the windshield. i had 8" of tint and there can only be 4......so i had to take that off too.

He was probably suffering from doughnut withdrawal when he got ya. I had tint on my diesel since the day I bought it. The darkest you could get. I only put it on the rear windows. I was stopped once, but they didn't say a thing about it.

doughnut withdrawls!! thats funny,..

.. The Corpus Christi Police Department loves to do the click it or ticket thing.. they have one cop that is in regular cloths "panhandling" with a mic on him to tell the other cop around the other side of the overpass which cars to stop./// and they also did a fund raiser with a Doughnut shop here... they had to stay on top of the doughnut shop for 5 days.. i have no idea who it benefited.. but they sure did make a hell of a lot of money.. thats where all of our law enforcement is at!
