I still don't understand why you want to change those wheels. I like em'. If I can find somebody to hold a camera I'll submit this weekend after I wash my car.

Yeah? you guys like the rims? Thanks.
I was thinking, until I can or if the wifey says I can get a new set, of getting lower profile tires.
The rims are 15x6.5 with 195/50-15.
I was thinking more of 195/40 or 45 and tucking them a lil more.
But I would need to get some adjustable struts or coil-overs.
But I am still leaning toward the 13" deep dish rims..... i dont know.
It will take some time though, before I can do anything else major, because the wife and I are saving up the buy a house so the cabby will come in last place priority.
Oh well, all good things come to those who wait huh!

Those are very nice wheels, though you know how I feel about your projected plans for the Cabby they certainly are not anything to be in a hurry to rid yourself of.
Good thread, I'll post pics of me-n-my Cabby to contribute to it once I get some new ones-most likely will happen next weekend at the show in TN.

I can't believe I'm only the second member to actually post a pic to this thread. So here it is, ugly car with it's uglier owner/caretaker. In my defense it had been a long day.

That's me in my natural habitat after 11 1/2 hours in the garage on a Saturday. I tried to do a favor for a customer of mine and save a $300.00 converter assy. on his 4X4 Camry, 3 1/2 hours and a broken manifold stud later and the car is still sitting in my driveway waiting for a converter assy. I have got to get rid of this hero complex once and for all.

Fantastic, just what I needed..... support.
Just kidding, I was diagnosed with this by a friend of mine. He owns a high end European (Porsche, BMW, MB etc.) repair shop. He used to send me his project cars, stuff that needed to be fixed but he couldn't justify wasting his time to diagnose and or repair. One day I brought back an old Subaru that belonged to one of his customers kids, it had a drivability issue and was a pain to finally get sorted out. He asked me how many hours I had into it and I told him 4. It was closer to 20 and he knew it. That's how I got the diagnosis. As far as being a noble quality, I would rather have a castle to tell you the truth.
