If anyone has that black plastic piece that you see on the seat hige and on top of the door I need them.

Ok I think I got the hang of it here is my Cab. It is a bit rough but I'm working on it. At the moment the entire interior is out and I have recovered the fabric portion of the seats with a spotted black material. And I have sewn a VW patch on each headrest. I am getting black carpet to replace the blue, and I will be covering the door panels and back panels in the same material. I am picking up my quad grille this weekend to replace the single round, and it cost me $0 the fellow it swapping me even :D . Underneath I am in the process of installing all new gas lines and I think I am getting strutts from an 84 GTI to put on. I am considering that "push bumpers in thing" but I also like big bumpers!! Anyway there is far to much to mention in one post. I'll be back!!!

Nice Cabby! What year is it?
I personally love my 2 light grill and wouldnt change it for the world.
The bumper push back is fairly simple and is a good subtle mod until you get your big bumper. Makes the bumper look more flushed.
I will be posting some pics of the mod soon.
But way to go on you Cabby!

Thanks, it is an 86. I am the 3rd owner, the 1st owner so I am told was a fanatic and only bought parts from the dealer to keep it pure. Sadly the 2nd owner had other ideas like bandaids, chewing gum and any other cheap easy fix or repair. If you saw the wire job on the inside for the aftermarket stereo you would puke. Thus the reason I gutted it.

I got this set of 13" wheels with it. Not sure if I like them I may trade them for snowflakes them I like.

Hey, Mine is an 86 too! Alright!

LOL! some crazy people just dont know how to keep it pure..... :x

What kind of look are you gonna go for? If you are going for the contemporary look, then those rims would be nice.
But if you are like me and are going for the euro look. 13" deep dish is the way to go.

For some nice deeps, check out the links.
Visit http://www.tunershop.com/.
I also found some off-the-hook rims by PLS....check them out
http://www.wheelspecs.com/specs/wheelbrands/439

Now, to figure out how to get them....... 8)

VWnoob that looks sweet!! When you finish you should have all the experience to come finish mine  I like it low like that, one addition I have or that I have seen is a small scoop on the hood near the front on the drivers side. Not sure if it is for form or function but I like it...
