Door Sill Trim...

Post by ericb49 »

You know the deal...The Convy/Cabby came with glued-on sill trim - thick vinyl sheet over foam/MDF core glued to the top of the inner door sheetmetal. Very nice until they crack (which they ALL do). NLA from the dealer. Rare to find used, as removing them without destroying them is near impossible.

Anyhow had my local upholstery guy glue some padded vinyl on my door sills...came out nice and was like $40 a side.

They crack? I guess I've just been lucky, have spares too.
Anyways, that looks good. I might have to steal you the "bodily fluid cleanup kit" from the first aid box at work. Than you'll be complete!

Ha! That's one of those barf-bags MINI sent out as promo items when the new Cooper S came out, right?
