Hi, my name is Charlie and I can't stop buying old cars.....
I recently purchased a 1980 Rabbit Convertible L for my wife as a daily driver. No top, unless you count the quilting project in the box in the back seat. No tail lights, bad ignition switch, cracked dash, odo not working. Great little car. Getting the lights resolved, installing the outer top shell for the winter, will do it right this spring, start it with a screwdriver for now. Have I hit on all the common issues yet? Thanks for all the resources here!
