Cabby <-> Scirocco interchagability.

Post by Blades »

Getting a 86 Scirocco next week (for 1$ CDN (lower car sale price possible in Quebec; the symbolic dollar)

I was wondering if a Plastic Cabriolet fuel tank can fit in a small spare 86 Scirocco.

Thank you :)

(The 86 Scirocco might have a fuel tank leakage problem, so I'm checking my options. Other than that, it's CIS-E, MFA, tilt sunroof, rear wind made in like foam)

Finally, another rocco owner on the forums!!!

The tanks should swap fine. Please take pics and post those up as soon as you get a chance.

Thats funny. Thats the first time I've ever heard a rocco called a fastback rabbit. Not a bad name really. Might have to consider that.
