89 cabby motor
I have an 89 cabriolet and I think it needs a motor. I found a 85 golf GTI that is not a 16v will this motor interchange with the cabriolet mine has the cis injection system did they change it for the golf I was thinking that the motor would work and I was going to part the car out is there anything else that would interchange between them?????

87 and 85 if original will interchange with no issues. Kammy will know the specifics.
