Wind screen advice

I've probably posted this in the wrong section, so apologies in advance. I saw this web site and was wondering if anyone has them and whether they would recommend them. They're probably out of my price range but dreaming anyway. Thanks.

The Crabby Cabby has one, and I think Phil has one. Brian made his own (substantial lower cost as well if memory serves) I think and it works very well. Weather you buy or build I don't think you can go wrong. It makes a lot of difference in the cabin.

Actually I have one in each of my Cabbys.

I have an M type in Posh Bunny and an XL in Topless Bunny.

They are worth every penny I paid for them.

I highly recommend them.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to get an XL version for this winter. Usually it's just me and one passenger. Was wondering how difficult it is to remove for the rare occasion when I might need the back seat?

The XL removes/installs in a matter of a couple minuets. It can be left installed when the top is up, and gives the impression that the car is a two seater.

However, the length of the rods for the XL make it difficult to store in the car after it is removed (in my opinion this is the only downside). It does come with a nice storage bag.

The M type however uses the lower mounting straps, so it can be stowed in front of the rear seat when not in use.

I had an XL and eventually sold it:



I use my rear seat too much (groceries, car cover, top boot, etc.); I'd rather deal with wind turbulence than the inconvenience the screen creates. If you don't use the rear seat much, it's a worthy component to add to the car.
