The horse hair is the padding. If you have removed it you have removed the padding.

Yes as matter of fact, I have the Luck o'the Irish...everything I touch turns to fertilizer of the bovine variety.

Put the soft top on today--looks amazing! We also got the painting done on the car which looks amazing as well! Finally coming together...

whozmaresy, you said you recently had a paint job; I'm looking to do the same after my bondo work. How much did that run you? I have an '83 BMW that needs a coat too. Just wondering how much to expect to shell out. Looking forward to pics of yours!

I'm going to search or start a thread on paint/body work.
