Wheel/tire size
I found a set of 15x8 with a +15 off set.What would be my best bet, 205-50 or 195-50?

Re: Wheel/tire size
195's are prollie going to have to be streached, which if you like the look, is great. 205's I thing will rub on a cabby. I have them on my rocco, but I don't know how they would do in the cabby wells.

Re: Wheel/tire size
From what I've read, a width of 8 or above may require fender rolling, no matter the tire.

Re: Wheel/tire size
I can see fender rolling you you are planning on dropping the car down, but at stock height and using 15's, keep the profile to 50 or 45 and you shouldn't need to roll the fenders. Now at 8", you might want to get some spacers and go for the whole streach and poke look

I'm really building the cabby for my 16yr old daughter,I just want it to look really nice.I don't want them to rub.

Re: Wheel/tire size
I use 15X8 for my winter tires with 195/50/15s on them, they rub a little if I have people in the back. My summer wheels are 17s with 205/40/17s and they rub about the same amount. I also have Shine Racing System springs all around with Boge turbos so results may vary.

Re: Wheel/tire size
Check the cabby-info.com site, I do believe they will rub the inner fenders and possible the outer ones on a tight turn.

In spite of Brian's collage, my 17's look great. Pffffflllllltttttt!
The 195/70/14's will work fine. That is stock wheel size for
Mk3's and get swapped around routinely up here.
Hey Brian....you take pictures of your Mom with that camera?

Oooh, my bad....Sorry to hear about your Mom.
I have met several fantastically sexist females and they are
to be commended.
My apology for hijacking this thread, back into hibernation I go.
