Cabby door cards?

Hello. I just got an 89 white cabby that I really like. I'm planning to slowly get her into restored shape. My question is how hard is it to deal with the door cards?
I'd love to hear on possible vendors for replacement parts as well as to the difficulty of the job for the do-it-your-selfer.

If you have good skills (sewing stapling, gluing, wood working) then it is a piece of cake.

I have done it, it is time consuming and can be costly if you don't have the tools.

Cabrioworld and TMI make door cards.

If you can get them off without doing too much damage (It's not that hard to take them off), There are vinal repair kits that can fix splits in the vinal so you wouldn't even know there was a split in the first place.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I've checked out the TMI cards. Are they good quality? I've familiarized myself with the interior and I am (mostly)comfortable with the mounting systems. Are there any surprises behind the door card?
The current condition of the cabby is ok - but the past owner was a not-so-handy man and there are some definite to do items. I've already fixed some of the hard plastics parts and am waiting on a new dash bezel.
I'm also looking for map-pockets as the cabby's are MIA.

I've heard the TMI product is of good quality.
Is the installation something a normal guy can do or should I look for professional help. (no jokes please :))

TMI is the wholesaler that produces the cards, trouble is they don't sell to individuals. You have to go throught J-bugs Cabrioworld. to get them.

I did a how to thread on removing a door card...its like 6 screws a pull of a knob.

What about the armrests? All the door cards I've seen on the web say nothing about armrests... seems like it would be hard to close the door without them...

The armrests/door pulls (along with mirror adjusters, map pockets, etc.) are separate from the door cards. You'll have to source those from eBay, junkyards, new from the dealer, etc.
