I saw this on eBay and was wondering what the vets here think of this? I wouldn't mind squeezing a few more ponies out of the car until I find another engine for it.

Re: Bigger throttle body?
Depends on the year of your car, but you may have the larger one installed anyways.. that seems to be a high price to pay, as one from a wrecking yard not cleaned up should run ya about 30 bucks......or less.

From what I've heard a bigger throttle body won't give you more horsepower, but it will make the throttle tip-in quicker, so the car will "feel" faster.

I know my .02 cents is a little late to the party, but gull is right. You won't see any major gains with that TB unless you have the mods on your engine to take advantage of the extra airflow. If anything, you may even notice a slight drop in bottom end torque, although your top end should improve. 8V's respond well to mods and can make decent power, but it takes a few $$$$.....ask me....I know....LOL
