Hello all,
I have a 87 Cabby that I am doing up for my finance. I saw a Pink Cabby all done up in Hello Kitty, and want to do a similar theme, but red vice pink. If anybody can send me a file, please PM me.
Thanks in advance.

That is Lucky McGee's kitty, and I think she would take exception to someone copying her style....
You can post your question at
http://www.the152.com as that is where she lives...

No matter what theme you decided I am sure it will have all of your own touches. I've seen hot rod styles and others that I really like, so why not?
I dont have any templates, but I have seen some files posted on the Vortex with blank templates andd such, you can just add your own artwork to those. Or scan existing ones and work from there with photoshop.
Good luck, I'd like to see what your plans are.

I've collected several from various posts in the last few years, I don't recall where so I am unable to give credit.
Go here
http://reflectionsandshadows.com/cabby/overlays/
to download, any/all are likely to need
GIMP (or photoshop) work before they'll be useable as yours.

I am probably going to buy a copy of photoshop so I can play around. I have not picked up the new cabby yet, and I don't remember if it has Motometer or VDO gauges.
I have tried to register for the
http://www.the152.com forum, but have not seen an e-mail with the registration number.
I am not going to copy her car, but do an "old school" hello kitty job. Red and not pink. Maybe something else, I dunno. Its a project, right?

GIMP is open source and free, download at
http://gimp.org .
Look for the version for your operating system, Windows, MAC or Linux.
GIMP does a lot of the same things Photoshop does, layers, channels, paths, filters, color balance, etc., it's the Open Source community's answer to Photoshop. It is NOT Photoshop though, but once familiar with it, you may not care.
Both Photoshop and GIMP have learning curves, I've never found either to be easy.

Why, Ron-you sly devil. I forgot all about that-great suggestion!
