Hello all,
I picked up dubchickshunny's white Cabby and wanted to do something about the Airbag idiot lights. Is there a way to reset/disable the lights on the dash? If not, can I take apart the dash and remove the LED's and replace them with the plain black filler LED looking things?
Any help would be appreatated.

Air Bag Lights.......
Hi Dan,
You can take it to the dealer, have codes read and addressed, sometimes only a reset is needed. Some say disconnecting the battery for two or more hours can reset the system.
Or, at your own risk, the system can be easily dis-abled.
Just below the fuse panel, find the single, unique, flat, 6 pin connector and unplug the air bag controller. The car will now crank but won't start.
Find the two black wires in the car side harness from that plug, connect them together. Car will now start and operate fine, less complete air bag functions. You are now free to remove as many or as few of the air bag components as you desire.
Two views of the bypass...

Here's an update and improvement on this particular trick.
Don't cut the two black wires as shown, do splice them together.
You can still disconnect the air bag controller plug to completely disable the system, then remove as much or as little of the system as desired.
This way will also allow a temporary system disable, splice the wires, disconnect the controller. At any future date, the process is completely reversible by simply plugging the controller back in, then proceed with any needed system diagnosis and repair.
All the splice without cutting will do is duplicate a splice in the controller harness, the system will never know your splice is in place.
