Le Castellet Wheels...

Post by CaliforniaCabbie »

Hey everyone, check this ad out:

http://www.craigslist.org/eby/pts/142826269.html

Do they look like they're any good? Personally, that 'minor bend' is keeping me from buying them, but these wheels are quite hard to come by, and I thought one of you might use 1 or 2 of them.

It looks llike it'll be a while until I find something respectable to replace the chipped, crappy 'bubble' wheels that I despise which are on my '92.

For $150 they aren't too bad. I have seen these rims go for $300 and up. Personally I would keep looking though, you could probably find something in better shape.

The problems look pretty minor and can most likely be repaired by a reputable wheel shop. Call a wheel shop (or go to one with the pics) and ask if and how much to repair them; based on that, make your purchase (or not).

One thing is for certain: They need some major cleaning! :D
