Welcome to the boards finally! And yes spring is officially here. Has anyone told mother nature yet? I think she forgot.

tell me about it! we have winter storm warnings out, could have 3-5 inches of snow by morning.
If you can't beat them, drop the top and pimp by 'em!

It's sspring like here, but I wouldn't even dream of driving the cabby on the streets of this town yet.
With all the gravel they have been dumping over the winter, it becomes a quick way to get a broken windshield.

Thats an awesome swap! Thats one of the swaps that I wanted to do on my Cabby.
Keep them pics coming!
Oh and you should do a write up of the steps you take and your experiences.

it's not actually me doing the work on this project... I'm not savvy enough for a job of this magnitude so i've called in a professional. what I can give you a write up on is the way it runs and drives.. i'll give you a full report when it's done

i've always thought of doing this swap and then putting a neuspeed supercharger on it. would prolly be fun.

it's mostly stock besides the TT lightened flywheel. I'm also running a 16v tranny with a sachs clutch. other than that she's a clean slate. I plan on doing a cam and chip very soon.
