Sorry to hear about the bike. Hope you get the house. And I can almost asure you that my rocco will never roll up in your driveway (don't think I can handle sitting in the car for that long) but hopefully one day I can make it out that way somehow. :D

Keep us posted on the house/jetta saga

Did you get a garage to keep/rebuild the car in?

Congrats, now just finish the move, get your car in the garage, and start the rebuild.... Worry about the furniture and the rest for a later date after you get the car finished.... I mean you have to have your Priorities..... I mean all you need is a Microwave, and a fridge for the beer.....

im in the house...and yes the Jetta is in the garage....although still with all of its parts inside of it in totes....lol

furniture is going to wait, but only because i am goin to do some re-modeling...gotta get rid of this popcorn ceiling :)

i have been working my ass off around the house and at work, im still waiting for my first wave of utility bills, so im trying not to spend any money other than food and gas and beer...lol

ive already spent about 6 grand since i moved in on getting appliances ...but at least my kitchen is badass now...when i find my camera i'll take some pics of the house

on another note i have the opportunity to take a job in Iraq for a year making 120k (30k is taxable the rest is tax free) with my company, im tempted, but not sure if i want to leave my house for a year, but it would give me a nice bank account when i got back. to pay off all my bills other than the house with enough left over to fix everything the house needs to my liking

Glad to hear about the house, conflicted on the Iraq thing.

Normally I'd be dead against it, but being a single dude, most of my concerns are out the window (family). So that just leaves the make sure your comfortable that you won't be in a nasty area, unless that doesn't bother you. Hard to beat the money, but then if you are having to watch your ass the whole time your trying to work, I can't see the money being worth it.

Wish ya the best of luck making that choice.

the iraq thing is just a thought...hell i'd rather go back into the marines...

on a different note, i did start soem assembly:

installed the chrome handles on all 4 doors and installed the windows on the rear doors....low and behold the paint shop never sent my fron door window seals so now i get to loo for thse too....with any luck their shop will burn to the ground

as of right now the rear doors are 95% assembled...i need to remove the panel on the RR door and adjust the interior handle cause the door panel is not clearing it like it should so the trim piece cannot be installed and i need to find an air actuator for the LR door cause that is yet another thing that didnt come with the car...its 148 new from the dealer
